My name is Lidia! I'm a freelance artist with a passion for books, in particular romance and fantasy—especially stories with intense emotions, dramatic scenes, and unforgettable characters. I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, even while studying something completely unrelated to art. Eventually, I followed my instincts and studied illustration at the International School of Turin. As a lifelong reader, turning my love for books into bookish art felt like the most natural path. Now I work with private comissioners, indie authors, publishers, and special edition projects to bring their stories to life with art that feels just as magical as the worlds they've created.

“Nefelé” (Greek: Νεφέλη Nephélē) is a figure in Greek mythology whose name literally means “cloud”.

She appears in various myths.
Her name emphasizes her association with clouds (“νεϕέλη”).
She embodies themes of transience, nature, and the boundary between earth and sky.

I chose this name because my mom used to say I had my head in the clouds—meaning I was always daydreaming as a kid, creating, I was in a world of my own.
